111102 - Member of Shura Council
Attend the meetings of the Council; review and study all issues and matters presented for discussion based on the Council agenda; provide appropriate opinions and proposals concerning these issues and matters and evaluate them; make appropriate suggestions on any new laws or amendments to an applicable law.
Main Tasks:
Review and study the Kingdom’s general policies and the ministries' annual reports, laws and resolutions; and give opinions and proposals on them in line with the Kingdom's vision, directions, strategies and development plans at all levels.
Work as a member in one of the Council specialized committees; consider all legislations, projects, decisions and plans related to this specialization once included in the Council's agenda; and provide opinion and advice in this regard.
Review and study the international positions and internal and external policies of the Kingdom, and present observations and proposals regarding the international resolutions, conventions and treaties.
Evaluate all laws, policies and procedures taken by the government based on the Council's agenda; provide feedback and discuss them; and make suggestions on new laws or amendments to an applicable law.
Reflect a positive image of the Shura Council; constructively and systematically participate in the Council's discussions; and adhere to and comply with the Council's laws and bylaws at all times.
