Participate in developing the general objectives, strategic plans and policies of the Ministry; participate in the development of programs and plans in order to curry out the general policies of the Ministry; supervise the administration of the affairs and operations of the sub-ministry, achieving the developed plans; work to coordinate the work of the departments and organizational subordinate units; make various decisions according to the Ministry-approved table of authorities.

Main Tasks:
  • Participate in the formulation and development of the general strategy and main objectives of the Ministry as well as strive to achieve them through the development of goals, policies, initiatives and operational plans for the organizational subordinate units; follow-up the related execution processes; and ensure the existence of accurate frameworks and metrics determining the level of achievement for these strategic plans and objectives.
  • Generally supervise the work of the organizational subordinate units of the sub-ministry; direct and follow up the operations, general procedures and the level of services provided, ensuring their consistency and conformity with the comprehensive quality standards and the approved principles of institutional excellence; and take various decisions according to his authorities ensuring the conduct of the sub-ministry’s daily work.
  • Supervise the processes of studying and identifying the developmental needs and priorities for the sub-ministry; direct and support the execution of initiatives, programs and projects related to the sub-ministry's jurisdiction; ensure the provision of all resources that are necessary to achieve them.
  • Build strategic relationships with the external work partners; coordinate projects and joint efforts; ensure the availability of effective internal communication channels that achieve a high level of coordination, integration and coherence among all the organizational subordinate units.
  • Supervise the processes of preparing the general reports of achievement; present these reports to the senior leadership of the Ministry; inform the senior leadership of the various challenges and developments; consult the senior leadership about various strategic issues and the important future initiatives and challenges.
