Participate in the development of the key objectives of the audits to which other entities are subject to; prepare the audit plans with the aim to ensure the compliance of other entities with the financial laws, regulations, instructions and procedures adopted in the Kingdom; verify their adequacy and suitability to ensure the protection of funds, assets and properties against misappropriation, loss or manipulation; and develop manuals of procedures and processes to ensure the smooth functioning thereof and the efficiency of their results.

Main Tasks:
  • Participate in developing the key objectives of review and audit activities; develop and execute the plans, programs and projects that contribute to achieving such objectives; and ensure the existence of accurate frameworks and metrics by which the level of achieving these plans and objectives is determined.
  • Develop audit plans for other entities; determine the performance of the affiliated employees in light of these plans and in consistency with the audits’ key objectives; follow-up and evaluate their performance; provide the necessary feedback to support them; and enable them to achieve the specific performance objectives.
  • Coordinate with the internal auditors of the other entities to identify and collect all documents, records and reports that are required to conduct audits; and hold meetings with them with the aim to request a clarification on unclear matters and, subsequently, to discuss the audit results .
  • Provide recommendations to the immediate supervisor on the audit results of other entities; determine how compliant an entity with the approved financial laws and regulations is; ensure that there are no violations or breaches; and ensure that the relevant technical reports are prepared.
  • Follow up the examination of the financial reports, documents, records, accounts, contracts and agreements concluded by other entities in terms of their validity and legality; identify the deficiencies and misuse; and ensure the effectiveness and accuracy of the activities of organizing and archiving the financial records, documents and reports.
