121212 - Civil Service Office Manager

Supervise the preparation of the operational plans for the management of the office, organizing the work and distributing it to the different work teams; manage the work and services that the office provides; follow up all the office’s administrative and operational affairs, ensuring the implementation of its main activities and objectives; and ensure the availability of all the technical and human resources that guarantee the efficient and effective conduct of operations.

Main Tasks:
  • Supervise the development of the operational plans for the management of the office, organizing the work and distributing it to the different work teams; follow up the implementation of the operational plans; and ensure the existence of the accurate frameworks and metrics by which the level of achieving these plans and objectives is determined.
  • Manage the daily work of the office; ensure that the work provisions, regulations, decisions and instructions are implemented in accordance with the civil service law and the administrative instructions issued in this regard; and ensure that the services of the Ministry of Civil Service, such as recruitment, promotions, training, scholarship and others, are provided efficiently and effectively.
  • Generally supervise the performance of the employees; follow up the human resources programs aimed at developing, motivating and encouraging the employees; and evaluate their performance.
  • Provide the appropriate recommendations to the immediate supervisor in relation to the needs of the office in terms of the financial and human resources as well as the administrative requirements for the implementation of all the work and activities efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare and review the reports of the office; present these reports to the general management; brief the general management on the latest developments; and provide the solutions or recommendations for the various important future issues, initiatives and challenges.
