Generally supervise the project and program management activities in the entity; follow up the development of the plans of implementing the projects and programs; and monitor the progress of the work thereof; track their budgets and contractual procedures; determine their costs and sources of funding; and follow up the implementation processes that ensure the achievement of the objectives set for them based on the drawn up timetable and within the budget allocated thereto.

Main Tasks:
  • Supervise the processes of the development and implementation plans for the projects and programs in the entity; direct and follow up the financial budget estimation processes; identify the human and technical requirements as well as the equipment required for implementation; and ensure that they are provided in a timely manner and within the estimated cost.
  • Supervise the process of determining the project assumptions and all the intra-interferences with other projects or programs in the entity to ensure the optimal utilization of all the available resources; and identify the risks of the project and the steps necessary to avoid and resolve them in timely and appropriate manner.
  • Coordinate with the project team in order to review the completed work and the remaining phases; ensure the compliance with the scope of the project and the approved project management standards and quality specifications; and manage the change processes based on developed plans.
  • Coordinate and follow up the process of finalizing the main phases of the project and the process of project closing; assess the level of the project outputs’ achievement of its key objectives; and ensure that all the relevant knowledge and experience are transferred and that all the documents, forms and reports related to the project are archived and documented.
  • Periodically supervise the preparation of the project progress reports, the reports of the project’s challenges and risks management, and the reports on the performance measurement indicators and the factors of the project success; and submit these reports to the various parties involved in the project and to the senior management of the entity.
