Plan, direct and coordinate strategy and activities of urban planning management, manage land use in favor of urban expansion, recommend infrastructure projects, develop policies and programs of urban planning, and supervise the execution thereof.
Main Tasks:
Develop policies and procedures related to management, and ensure the adherence of staff, developers and other parties to the applicable regulations.
Manage the day-to-day processes of management, supervise inspections of sites and revise project plans.
Revise project plans provided by developers, assess their appropriateness to urban planning’s strategy and guidelines, and grant the necessary approvals.
Develop programs aiming at meeting community needs on the development and revival of lands and spaces.
Contact with stakeholders, such as: public and private institutions, and international organizations.
