Take part in preparing the operational plans and executive programs at Purchasing Department, directly supervise all activities associated with organization of procurements in line with the operational plans, follow-up-on all processes and services provided in the fields of assessment and selection of approved suppliers, tendering, implementation of purchase orders, coordinate the receipt of goods, assess suppliers’ performance and others.

Main Tasks:
  • Take part in preparing the operational plans and executive programs at Purchasing Department, identify and ensure procurement needs and priorities, follow purchasing personnel, ensure their adherence to the approved policies and procedures, and direct them towards the best practices and methods of procurement.
  • Supervise all day-to-day works and activities of procurements, including the assessment and selection of approved suppliers, tendering, opening envelopes, implementing purchase orders, following the receipt of purchased items, controlling the specifications and quantities of requested procurement, and ensuring being delivered at timely manner, the best quality and the least cost.
  • Ensure the effective and continuous coordination with the internal and external business partners, ensure building a wide base of suppliers, evaluate rates, performance and quality of services, and provide senior management with reports and recommendations in such regard.
  • Follow and direct the preparation of reports and technical analyses of procurement activities, control costs and rates, and provide the senior management with reports, propositions and technical recommendations based on such analyses and studies.
  • Take part in managing negotiations and discussions, study contracts with the suppliers of various materials and services, in line with all the approved policies and procedures, identify and ensure the availability of all resources, materials and techniques required for implementing works and activities of procurement.
