Main Tasks:
Supervise organizing the pharmaceutical services, and ensure that patients receive medications that meet their therapeutic and protective needs, as per the appropriate international standards.
Supervise the performance of pharmaceutical cadre, follow-up-on the operational plans, submit periodical reports, and provide the concerned ones with their performance outputs, in pursuance of the approved performance management system.
Supervise the planning and development for practicing the profession of pharmacy, develop the laws, regulations, standards, controls and policies, and ensure being in line with the strategic objectives of Ministry of Health, in accordance with the best global practices.
Supervise the issuance of pharmaceutical regulations, orders, laws and guidelines, propose the pharmaceutical policy, update and unify all policies and procedures associated with pharmacies.
Supervise preparing and submitting quantitative and qualitative periodical reports on the health facilities’ consumption of medications.
