134212 - Pharmaceutical Control Manager Participate in the development of the main objectives and policies related to the management of pharmaceutical control; directly supervise the activities of planning and organizing pharmaceutical services at hospitals and various health units, follow-up-on the works of pharmacists, associated technicians, in line with the prepared operational plans, and ensure the availability of all the technical and human resources that guarantee the flow of daily operations as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Main Tasks:
Take part in developing the key objectives of pharmacies’ control management; develop and execute the plans, programs and projects that contribute to achieving such objectives; and ensure the existence of accurate frameworks and metrics by which the level of achieving these strategic plans and objectives is determined.
Take part in developing and revising the policies of control department, supervise their implementation, supervise designing and revising the processes and procedures, ensure their smoothness, review the level of capacity and efficiency, depending on laws and regulations approved by Ministry of Health in the Kingdom.
Supervise applying all logistics related to medications and medical supplies, and storage thereof, supervise the destructions of expired medications, and ensure documenting and archiving the medical records, based on the approved regulations and procedures.
Supervise the pharmacies’ control management, besides the synthesis and release of prescriptions and medications, identify the required specifications, standards and levels of quality; to ensure the good flow of operations and provide the appropriate recommendations to the line manager, paving the way for execution.
Supervise the preparation of the abstracts and reports that clarify the general rates of achievement, present them to the specialized senior management; inform senior management of the different challenges and updates; propose the appropriate solutions and corrective actions, and seek the advice thereof regarding the various important future cases and initiatives.
