134407 - Social Development Manager

Participate in the preparation and development of the general objectives and strategic plans for the social development; directly supervise the planning, organization and management of the social development work; study the reports submitted by specialists; monitor the civil development committees, cooperatives and charities, in line with the operational plans and executive programs as well as the set strategic objectives; and ensure the availability of all the technical and human resources guarantying the continuous implementation of daily operations, as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Main Tasks:
  • Participate in the development and preparation of the general objectives and strategic plans, ensuring the achievement of an social development across the Kingdom in line with the strategic visions and priorities of the Ministry of Labor & Social Development; and ensure the existence of the accurate frameworks and metrics by which the level of achieving these plans and objectives is determined.
  • Revise and develop the social policies and legislations, ensure keeping up with the best international practices and experiences concerned with the social care affairs and human rights, in a manner that contributes to achieving the comprehensive social development and improving the quality of life of community individuals across the Kingdom.
  • Build up strategic relationships with the internal and external business partners; leverage the expertise thereof; and coordinate the projects with the aim to achieve, maintain, and ensure the sustainability of, the social development.
  • Supervise the processes of preparing the general reports and summaries of the various work and activities related to the achievement of the social development; present these reports and summaries to the Ministry of Labor & Social Development; inform the same of the various challenges and developments; and seek the advice thereof regarding various future important and strategic cases and initiatives.
  • Supervise studying and identifying the developmental needs and priorities; implement and apply the associated initiatives, programs and projects; provide all the necessary resources; and ensure the optimal exploitation of such resources.
