Participate in setting objectives and plans related to documents and archives management; supervise directly on planning and organization of archives and manuscripts work in accordance with prepared operational plans and objectives, and ensure availability of all technical and human resources ensuring the flow of daily operations as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Main Tasks:
Participate in setting plans and objectives to ensure preservations of valuable documents, transcripts and archives, and ensure the availability of accurate frameworks and metrics for finding such strategic plans and objectives achievement level.
Supervise preservation and maintaining of valuable documents and archives, and following up the preparation of classification and coding plans of documents, archives and manuscripts; supervise implementation thereof in coordination with concerned government agencies.
Build strategic relationships with business partners, such as National Center for Documents and Archives and others; coordinate projects and joint efforts; coordinate and communicate therewith continuously, and ensure availability of effective internal communication channels achieving high level of integration and cohesion among all regulatory units affiliated thereto.
Supervise preparation of summaries and reports on manuscripts, and archives; indicate condition thereof, submit the same to specialized senior management, and inform such management of different challenges and updates; consult the same on different emergent legal cases.
Participate in the development and implementation of strategies and programs for development and training of specialists in documents and archives field ensuring the availability of qualified and trained staff in various fields of work; ensure the availability of all modern techniques and means to enable them to apply work’s principles and methods as required.
