134933 - Translation Manager Participate in setting translation objectives and plans; supervise directly on planning and organization of translation; follow up the implementation of all procedures in accordance with prepared operational plans and objectives, and ensure availability of all technical and human resources ensuring the flow of daily operations as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Main Tasks:
Participate in setting objectives and plans related to translation of books, documents, papers, interviews, seminars, etc., in consideration of the priorities of work therein; ensure the availability of accurate frameworks and metrics for finding such strategic plans and objectives achievement level.
Supervise and guide employees, plan and organize translation work, follow up implementation thereon, and prepare proposals simplifying work and leading to better results.
Build strategic relationships with business partners, such as certified translation offices and translation managements in other entities; coordinate projects and joint efforts; coordinate and communicate therewith continuously, and ensure availability of effective internal communication channels achieving high level of integration and cohesion.
Supervise preparing general summaries and reports on translation flow, submit the same to Competent Senior Management, and inform the same of different challenges and updates; consult such management on different relevant issues.
Participate in setting and implementation of strategies and programs for development and training of translators ensuring the availability of qualified and trained staff in various fields of work; and ensure the availability of all modern techniques and means to enable the same to apply work’s principles and methods as required.
