Plan, direct and coordinate DPA’s strategy and activities; supervise activities analyzing and monitoring political developments, trends and emerging issues within the State and region; set political policies and programs, and supervise the implementation thereof.

Main Tasks:
  • Set policies and procedures related to Department’s operations, and ensure compliance of staff and political establishments with relevant regulations.
  • Plan, direct, coordinate and develop DPA’s strategy and activities.
  • Manage Department’s day-to-day operations including research and analysis activities, monitor developments and trends, and provide advice to authorities accordingly.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, such as: political establishments, public and private establishments and international organizations.
