134937 - Customs operations manager Participate in the setting and the preparation of goals and plans related to customs operations in accordance with the relevant strategic directions and priorities, follow up their implementation and execution in coordination with all relevant parties, guide and evaluate the implementation processes and prepare related completion reports.
Main Tasks:
Supervising the preparation of goals and plans for the management of customs operations, organizing and distributing work among various teams, ensuring full compliance with the relevant laws and regulations, following up their execution and implementation, and ensuring the existence of accurate frameworks and metrics that enables the realization of the level of achievement of these plans and goals.
General supervision of the performance of customs operations by following up daily work and services such as customs duty refunds, violations, customs clearance licenses, customs inquiries, governmental authorizations and other services and ensuring their efficient and high quality delivery.
Carry out field trips in order to monitor customs operations and ensure full compliance with all regulations and instructions issued by the General Authority of Customs, and ensure the ability of customs inspectors to curb illegal activities such as smuggling and the introduction of contrabands and others.
Supervising the collection of duties, taxes and other collections paid by importers and exporters to the General Authority of Customs to help stimulate the Saudi economy and protect the revenues of customs duties and tariffs.
Supervise preparing general abstracts and reports on achievement; present them to the Board of Directors to inform them about different challenges and updates; and seek their advice regarding various strategic cases and important future initiatives.
