Plan, direct and coordinate the operations of the Nationality Department, and managing the processes of granting nationality and citizenship and withdrawing them.

Main Tasks:
  • Develop nationality management policies and procedures and ensure that applicants and holders comply with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee the processes of granting and withdrawing citizenship, and ensure compliance with national legislation and policies.
  • Select, train and supervise the staff, as well as controlling their performance and behaviors against specified objectives.
  • Communicate with governmental institutions to exchange information on applicants and coordinate possible corrective action in case of violations.
