143107 - Sports Affairs Manager

Participate in the development and preparation of operational plans and executive programs for the works and activities of sports affairs, supervise directly the planning and organization of sports works in accordance with the operational plans and set objectives, follow-up all approved operations, and ensure the availability of all technical and human resources that ensure the conduct of daily operations as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Main Tasks:
  • Develop operational plans and executive programs for the work and activities of sports affairs, promote sports activities, monitor the activities of sports associations and centers, and ensure an effective mechanism to measure the level of achievement, quality and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the works and activities of sports affairs, provide technical or administrative advice to various sports associations and centers in order to develop their performance, and ensure their ability to achieve the objectives for which they were established.
  • Communicate with the official bodies and entities with the purpose of managing and coordinating all joint efforts pertaining sports affairs, and ensure the availability of joint work mechanisms to guarantee the adherence of sports associations to all regulations, rules and instructions issued by the General Authority for Sport.
  • Supervise preparing reports of work and completion, submit the same to the senior management, keep the same informed of different challenges and updates associated with sports affairs activities and works, besides request senior management’s consultation on different cases and coming initiatives.
  • Ensure the availability of qualified and trained cadres to carry out sports affairs’ works and activities, ensure the availability of continuous support and guidance, and enable them to employ modern practices, methods and means to improve the level of activities and related work.
