143110 - Tourism Manager

General supervision of the works and activities related to the management of tourism affairs and the development of relevant strategies, regulations and policies and ensure that they are constantly updated and reviewed to ensure a balanced and sustainable development of the tourism sector in the Kingdom in line with the objectives and priorities of the General commission for Tourism and National Heritage.

Main Tasks:
  • Developing operational plans and executive programs for tourism works and activities, such as tour guide works, management of archaeological locations and sites, museums, restoration of archaeological objects and other tourist activities, while ensuring an effective mechanism to measure the level of achievement and quality.
  • Oversee the work and activities of tourism, make recommendations for the development of the tourism sector and areas of craft and traditional industries, and make recommendations for the management and improvement of the level of services offered in the archaeological and historical areas.
  • Ensure effective and continuous coordination and communication with all government and private bodies and industry leaders, conclude agreements, partnerships and exchange of expertise and knowledge to contribute to the development of the tourism sector and the national heritage in the Kingdom.
  • Supervise preparing reports of work and completion, submit the same to the senior management, keep the same informed of different challenges and updates associated with tourist activities and works, and request senior management’s consultation on different issues and future initiatives.
  • Ensure the availability of qualified and trained cadres to carry out tourism’s works and activities, ensure the availability of continuous support and guidance, and enable them to employ modern practices, methods and means to improve the level of activities and related work.
