211104 - Medical Physics Specialist
Conduct researches and studies on the physical features of medical equipment that assist in patient examination and diagnosis; and provide the medical practitioners with advice on the proper utilization of the equipment.
Main Tasks:
Conduct researches on the physical knowledge related to medical equipment; build on and develop the operational concepts, theories and methodologies.
Design and carry out the trials related to medical equipment; and test the hypotheses of treatment success as well as the potential side effects.
Interpret the data and results using mathematical models and techniques.
Provide the specialists with advice on the utilization of medical equipment; and provide recommendations on health and safety procedures.
Prepare the scientific papers and reports; publish the researches in the academic periodicals; and present the results at the professional conferences.
