214604 - Petroleum Engineering Technology Specialist

Develop and implement oil production techniques; resolve technical problems while drilling; preparie relevant documents and reports.

Main Tasks:

Develop and implement the well drilling plans for obtaining an approval from the concerned department, describing the drilling time, the number of special processes, such as directional drilling, examination, requirements of materials and cost including well casing and drilling muds.

Provide advice during drilling for solving problems, such as: the change in drilling direction, holes, drilling rate and water flow into the well hole; and check the well in terms of casing and pipe installation accuracy.

Link petroleum studies with development projects and identifying its advantages

Participate in the examination of the state of wells and the level of their production, follow-up of their periodic maintenance, as well as examinations and studies related to the estimation of gas and petroleum.

Prepare, present, clarify, and keep on the relevant database, the specialized documents and reports related to engineering projects and works, as well as their progress ratio, as per the adopted policies and procedures.
