221214 - Diagnostic Radiologist
Assist in diagnosing the diseases using means of imagery, such as normal radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound waves and nuclear imagery techniques.
Main Tasks:
Propose the suitable imagining technique for diagnosing the suspected cases.
Prescribe the correct configuration of imagery equipment; and determine the protocols, contrast mediums, suitable doses and other parameters.
Execute the medical imagery procedures, such as fluoroscope, image-guided access to veins and arteries, as well as the nuclear medicine treatments.
Interpret the results of diagnostic imagining; and refer the patient to the specialists, if needed.
Prepare, and keep in the corresponding data base, the patient’s medical documents and reports, in accordance with the regulating policy and procedures.
