221215 - Emergency Physician Provide prevention from, diagnose and treat the injuries, diseases and disorders at the hospital in the emergency room in or one of the emergent care rooms, before referring the patient to the suitable medical department.
Main Tasks:
Execute the emergency procedures; administer the medications to the patient to stabilize their state; and prepare the patients for the following phases of treatment at the medical or surgical intensive care unit.
Meet and check the patients to understand their complaints and symptoms; and identify the extent of their need to emergency care or the possibility of referring them to an ordinary physician.
Provide the emergency medical care to treat the injuries, diseases and disorders; and refer the patients to the normal medical care units, as quickly as possible.
Monitor the patients’ health status; assess their response to treatment; and re-assess the treatment plans, as necessary.
Prepare, and keep in the corresponding data base, the patient’s medical documents and reports, in accordance with the regulating policy and procedures.
