223001 - Folk Medicine Specialist
Diagnose, treat, and provide prevention from, a variety of injuries, diseases and disorders, by applying the recognized skills and knowledges in the folk (traditional) and complementary medicine.
Main Tasks:
Meet and examine patients; review their medical history to understand their complaints and symptoms.
Diagnose and determine the nature and causes of injuries, diseases and disorders, based on the examinations and tests results.
Provide the folk and complementary medical care to treat or provide prevention from injuries, diseases and disorders; and provide the patients with advice on the proper nutrition, hygiene, lifestyle, etc., to maintain or improve health and well-being.
Monitor the patients’ health status; assess their response to treatment; and re-assess the treatment plans, as necessary.
Maintain the technical expertise, update the knowledge on a continuous basis, study the specialized publications, and participate in the training courses and conferences.
