223003 - Naturopathy Specialist Study the natural medicines extracted from plants and herbs and determine their therapeutic effectiveness; study and develop the therapeutic uses to combat diseases; organize the natural medicines dispensing procedures for chronic and mild diseases; and prepare the medical documents and reports related to the patient
Main Tasks:
Study the specifications and characteristics of natural medicines; analyze their components, types and uses; and determine the therapeutic effects of each component; and develop the natural medicines through conducting studies and laboratory researches on plants and natural herbs
Determine the efficacy of natural medicines against bacteria and viruses; conduct the applied field experiments in accordance with the regulations governing the drug experimentation under the control of medical bodies; and evaluate the results.
Prepare the drug before dispensing it to the consumer; provide the patient with advise on the correct usage and possible side effects; and dispense the natural medicines to treat chronic and mild diseases.
Develop the work methods and procedures; and keep up with the developments in alternative medicine.
Prepare, and keep in the corresponding data base, the patient’s medical documents and reports, in accordance with the regulating policy and procedures.
