Propose the strategies, policies, procedures and instructions related to environmental health; analyze and identify the chemical, physical, radiological and biological hazards to the environment; monitor and follow-up the procedures for the disposal of gaseous, liquid and solid waste; and prepare and maintain the medical documents and reports related to the environmental health.
Main Tasks:
Propose the draft strategies, policies, procedures and instructions related to environmental health; prepare the national standards and specifications related to environmental health; and follow up their ratification process.
Monitor the application of environmental health standards and specifications using different ways and methods such as: Monitoring and measurement devices, inspections and field visits.
Study and develop the transportation, preservation and disposal of gaseous, liquid and solid waste; study the possibility of recycling the waste; and follow-up and monitor the recycling process.
Develop the work methods and procedures; and keep up with the developments in the field of environmental health.
Prepare the documents and reports related to environmental health and keep them on their relevant database, as per the regulating policies and procedures; ensure the application of principles and rules of public safety during the conduct of various environmental health activities.
