Develop the national public health strategies, policies, procedures and instructions; monitor their application; monitor the public health in drinking water, food factories and restaurants; monitor the food and beverage industry personnel; follow up the health certification; and prepare and keep the medical documents and reports related to public health.
Main Tasks:
Develop the national public health strategies, policies, procedures and instructions; follow up their approval; and monitor their implementation.
Monitor the safety of drinking water; take the necessary samples for bacterial or chemical examination; investigate the contamination sources; impose the regulatory measures; and monitor the purification and sterilization devices.
Monitor the safety of food and beverages in the preparation and selling areas; take samples to verify that they are not contaminated or spoiled; monitor the workers’ health in the places of food and beverage preparation or sale; and inspect the health certifications.
Develop the work methods and procedures; and keep up with the developments in the field of public health.
Prepare the documents and reports related to public health and keep them on their relevant database, as per the regulating policies and procedures; ensure the application of principles and rules of public safety during the conduct of various public health activities.
