Develop and follow up the implementation of radiological prevention procedures and instructions; assess the radiation hazards in workplaces and environment; provide advice related to ionizing radiation such as X-rays and radioactive materials and waste; and prepare and keep medical documents and reports related to radio protection.
Main Tasks:
Develop the radiation protection strategies, policies, procedures and instructions; ensure the commitment to respect radiation safety systems; and follow up their adoption and application.
Measure, monitor and evaluate the radiation hazards in the workplace; and evaluate the impact of radiation hazards on the environment.
Provide advice in the field of ionizing radiation and methods of transporting and disposing of radioactive waste; and participate in the investigation of accidents and injuries caused by radiation hazards.
Develop the work methods and procedures; and keep up with the developments in the field of radiation hazard protection.
Prepare and keep the documents and reports related to radiation hazard protection in the relevant database, in accordance with the regulating policies and procedures; and ensure the application of public safety principles and rules during conducting various radiation hazard protection works.
