Study the condition of the injured and the requirements of the professional work; assist the injured workers to return to and continue their work; and prepare and keep the documents and reports related to occupational therapy.
Main Tasks:
Assess the possibility of modifying or making adjustments to the workplace; and evaluate the functional capabilities of the worker.
Train and qualify the worker on using the workplace facilities.
Train the patient through physical therapy to improve their motor performance and abilities.
Develop the work methods and procedures; and keep up with the developments in the field of occupational therapy.
Prepare and keep the documents and reports related to occupational therapy in the relevant database, in accordance with the regulating policies and procedures; and ensure the application of public safety principles and rules during conducting various occupational therapy works.
