Develop a specialized database on documents and manuscripts; prepare and develop the classification and indexing manuals for documents and manuscripts; and develop the documents and manuscripts system.
Main Tasks:
Develop a specialized database on documents and manuscripts in a systematic and smooth way that makes it easy to use, refer to and update constantly.
Prepare and develop the documents and manuscripts classification manuals according to their content; and participate in the classification and coding procedures.
Develop a system for documents and manuscripts lending and using; and follow up the implementation, evaluation and development of such system.
Follow up the documents and manuscripts maintenance and restoration procedures.
Prepare the specialized documents and reports; present the appropriate recommendations and solutions; present, clarify and keep these documents and reports in the related database in accordance with the approved policies and procedures.
