Develop a libraries’ specialized database; prepare the books, references and periodicals classification manuals and system, according to their topics; follow up on the provision of the library with books and references; develop a lending system; and prepare, present and keep the specialized documents and reports related to the libraries field.
Main Tasks:
Develop a specialized database containing the library's books names in a scientific and systematic way that makes it easier to find.
Prepare the books and volumes classification and indexing system, according to their topics, in a systematic and smooth way that makes it easy to use, refer to and update constantly.
Provide the library with books, references and periodicals, according to the needs of the visitors and the publications produced by publishers, as per to the general regulating policy of collections; plan the participation in exhibitions; and identify the library needs.
Develop a system for books, references and periodicals lending; facilitate the use of which; and document the book fairs.
Prepare the specialized documents and reports related to libraries; and produce, present, clarify and keep the appropriate recommendations and solutions on the relevant database, according to the approved policies and procedures.
