Main Tasks:
smoothly and gently carry out the duty of the promotion of virtue and the prevention of vice using the best possible methods of Da’wa, guided by the ethics of good ancestors, taking into account the different Islamic Sharia purposes.
Contribute with the competent entities to fight against and address the social scourges, evils and negative phenomena and behaviors; clarify the harm of which to individuals, families and societies; and provide the required support, advice and assistance for all society categories to avoid them.
Wisely provide required advice for all society categories; encourage them to adhere to the true pillars of religion and follow the Islamic morals; and invite them to empress and practice the righteous deeds stipulated by the Sharia.
Provide formal reporting notes to the police or the competent entities related to fighting against the social scourges and deviated behaviors; ensure the provision of all relevant data and details of such cases; and recommend the deterrent and appropriate punishment.
Monitor the performance of the prayer in its times determined by Sharia in mosques; urge the people to answer the call of prayer expeditiously; and ensure that shops and malls are closed and sale is stopped during the prayer times.
