Main Tasks:
Censor the media programs before presenting and broadcasting to ensure that they comply with the religious principles and prevailing social, political and media aspects in the kingdom.
Participate in identifying, , publishing and clarifying the specifications, standards and quality levels required for different media programs; and reply to the related inquiries.
Participate in preparing and circulating the policies and procedural proofs to all entities concerned in the media works; monitor compliance with them; and take the appropriate legal procedures upon violation.
Ensure applying the Saudi regulations governing the media programs works; and monitor the compliance of the entities with their application and implementation.
Prepare, and maintain on their corresponding database, the specialized documents and report on media censorship, as per the adopted policies and procedures.
