314202 - Aquaculture Technician

Provide technical and scientific support as well as advice to aquaculture farmer. Perform tests and experiments for supporting production.

Main Tasks:

Perform tests on sample such as fish tissue or water samples.

Determine production various methods impacts on growth and yield, as well as test products’ quality, and identify parasites and other harmful organisms.

Inspect and survey farms and assess environmental conditions of fish such as humidity and water temperature and cleanness.

Provide technical support to aquaculture farmers and advise on the implementation of new procedures or methods for increasing productivity and yield; assist in implementation thereof.

Operate and maintain research equipment required for samples analysis, identification of organisms and quality testing or supporting aquaculture specialist or breeders.
