315101 - Ship Engineering Technician Implement ship operation procedures; diagnose technical faults and follow up repair thereof as well as the implementation of preventive maintenance procedures; prepare and submit work reports.
Main Tasks:
Implement ship engines operation procedures according to manufacturer's manual, and monitor indicating and warning systems in engine’s room.
Inspect and diagnose faults of engine transmissions and steering system; identify and provide spare parts, and repair such faults.
Inspect condition of engine, transmissions and steering system upon repair to ensure accuracy of repairs and maintenance.
Follow up implementation of preventive maintenance program and procedures for ship's engines, transmissions, steering system, and indicating and warning systems in engine’s room according to instructions of manufacturer or competent engineer.
Prepare, submit, document and archive work’s reports
