315304 - Fixed-Wing Aircraft Pilot Review flight’s data and plan; inspect and equip the aircraft on the ground, command and direct the aircraft to transport personnel and air shipments; develop procedures to maintain the safety and comfort of passengers; coordinate and manage the activities of the crew to achieve the highest possible quality of flight, and ensure passenger satisfaction.
Main Tasks:
Study flight’s data and plan; check flight’s load and fuel amount; review flight’s route and height; sign and approve flight’s papers; enter and save flight’s data in aircraft’s computer.
Check aircraft’s readiness according to standard checklist, read control standards inside the aircraft to ensure that they are within the appropriate limits of flight, and conform flight’s data with aircraft’s devices readings; inspect external body of aircraft.
Operate aircraft engines; monitor and adjust performance thereof.
Command and direct the aircraft through takeoff and landing runways; obtain take-off or landing permit from control tower; command the aircraft in air; control performance thereof in coordination with air navigator; apply rules and regulations of transport and international aviation; record flight information and data; perform landing procedures and command the aircraft to the designated space.
Coordinate crew‘s activities to maintain passengers’ safety and comfort.
