Hajj Statistical Calendar (1438H)

In carrying out its domestic pilgrim’s enumeration program, GaStat depends on the comprehensive enumeration methodology for all individuals coming to Makkah for performing Hajj. This is achieved through Hajj Statistics centres stationed by Makkah entrances and the supporting centres in Jeddah, Alta’if and Al Medina. The counting begins on the 1st of Dhu Al-Hijjah and ends at 6:00 o'clock in the evening of the 9th day of the same month. The enumeration also includes pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom which is done by the General Directorate of Passports at the Kingdom’s entry points. The Hajj statistics program aims at providing accurate and comprehensive data about the number of pilgrims by arrival way and method to be used in the preparation of plans and programs necessary in providing high quality care for pilgrims. The number of pilgrims is also estimated by conducting a sample household survey implemented by GaStat. You can visit the Interactive Map of Hajj Statistics by Clicking here.
