“Hajj Statistics Bulletin” 40 Major Statistical Outputs to Support the Planning and Development of Pilgrims Services

The outputs of the annual statistical field work of the General Authority for Statistics (GaStat) in the Hajj season is not limited to the announcing of the total official number of pilgrims only. GaStat has an important role in supporting the planning and development of pilgrims services by providing various government entities with accurate, comprehensive and detailed information which is published after pilgrims’ enumeration process directly in the evening of the 9th day of Dhu Alhijja. The Hajj Bulletin issued annually by GaStat includes 40 major statistical outputs, ranging from indicators, total numbers, division, tables and charts as shown in the following :

1. Annual total number of pilgrims.
2. Total pilgrims in the last ten years
3. Chart: Total pilgrims in ten years
4. Total domestic pilgrims in the last ten years
5. Total international pilgrims in the last ten years
6. International pilgrims for the current year divided by gender
7. International pilgrims for the current year divided by way of arrival
8. Chart: International pilgrims by gender and way of arrival
9. International pilgrims for the current year by gender and date of arrival
