التقى رئيس الهيئة العامة للإحصاء في مقر الأمانة اليوم، بأمين منطقة الباحة، وذلك لبحث آفاق التعاون بين الجهتين في مجالات تبادل البيانات والمعلومات الإحصائية الداعمة للتخطيط والتطوير العمراني بالمنطقة.
وناقش الطرفان خلال اللقاء أهمية التكامل بين الجانبين في في مجالات اختصاصهما، والاستفادة من المؤشرات الإحصائية الدقيقة في رفع كفاءة المشاريع والخدمات المقدمة، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.
الجدير بالذكر أن هذا اللقاء يأتي امتدادًا لسعي الهيئة العامة للإحصاء نحو تعزيز شراكاتها الاستراتيجية مع الجهات والمؤسسات في كافة القطاعات، لتوظيف منتجاتها الإحصائية في دعم المبادرات والمستهدفات الوطنية، ودفع مسارات التنمية في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
 

استقبل صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير الدكتور حسام بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز أمير منطقة الباحة، في مكتبه بالإمارة اليوم، رئيس الهيئة العامة للإحصاء فهد بن عبدالله الدوسري، والوفد المرافق له.
واطّلع سموه خلال الاستقبال على عرض موجز حول أبرز أعمال ومنجزات الهيئة، إلى جانب أهم المشاريع والمبادرات الإحصائية التي تنفذها على مستوى المملكة، ودورها في دعم التخطيط التنموي والاقتصادي.
واستمع لشرح عن عددٍ من المؤشرات الإحصائية المتعلقة بمنطقة الباحة، وجهود الهيئة في دعم الجهات الحكومية بالإحصاءات الدقيقة؛ لتعزيز فاعلية التخطيط، ورفع كفاءة الإنفاق، وتحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 وأهداف التنمية المستدامة.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء في إطار التعاون؛ لتوظيف المؤشرات الإحصائية في دعم المبادرات والمستهدفات الوطنية، وتحقيق قيمة مضافة تسهم في دفع عجلة التنمية.
 

The President of the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT), Fahad Aldossari, met with the Chairman of Al-Baha Chamber of Commerce, Mashi Alomari, in the presence of representatives from both sides, as part of GASTAT’s delegation visit to the region.
During the meeting, the two parties reviewed opportunities for cooperation and ways to enhance the utilization of statistical data and indicators to support investors and entrepreneurs in the region, thereby contributing to better decision-making and improving the efficiency of developmental and economic planning.
It is noteworthy that this meeting comes as part of GASTAT’s efforts to strengthen its strategic partnerships with various entities and institutions across all sectors, to expand the scope of cooperation and leverage its statistical products in supporting national initiatives and targets, thus creating added value that contributes to driving the Kingdom’s development forward.

The President of Al-Baha University, His Excellency Prof. Abdullah Alhussein, met with the President of the General Authority for Statistics, Fahad Aldossari. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of cooperation within their respective areas of specialization.
The parties explored opportunities to strengthen their partnership by supporting academic and research programs, enhancing the statistical competencies of the university’s students, and providing access to statistical data and indicators to improve the quality of educational and research outputs.
H.E.  President of Al-Baha University affirmed that the university is open to cooperation with the General Authority for Statistics through its research centers and academic staff across various disciplines, in order to conduct studies that support GASTAT’s work.
For his part, GASTAT President appreciated the role played by Al-Baha University in building research and scientific capacity, stressing that GASTAT is keen to expand its partnerships with educational institutions to improve the efficiency of development plans and support decision-making through the exchange of statistical data, while keeping pace with international developments and best practices in educational statistics.
