Survey Awareness

Collecting accurate and up-to-date data for 2026 on the population residing within the development protection boundaries of Riyadh, covering various demographic, social, and other related indicators. The project aims to enable the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) to achieve sustainable urban planning and make strategic decisions based on reliable data, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of life for the city’s residents by providing precise information that supports the design of policies and public services.

A monthly survey conducted on a sample of establishments operating in a number of economic activities, including wholesale and retail trade and motor vehicle and motorcycle repair; transportation and storage; accommodation and food service activities; information and communication; financial and insurance activities; real estate activities; professional, scientific, and technical activities; administrative and support services; education; human health and social work activities; and arts, entertainment, and recreation, in addition to other service activities.

Time Use Survey serves as a key source for advancing the economic and social development of society. It provides insights into how different sexes and age groups allocate their time to both paid and unpaid works. These insights help inform policies designed to boost productivity and promote a more balanced distribution of roles.
