أعلنت الهيئة العامة للإحصاء عن فتح باب التسجيل عبر موقعها الإلكتروني في هكاثون الابتكار في البيانات، الذي يأتي بالشراكة مع منتدى الأمم المتحدة العالمي السادس للبيانات، بالتعاون مع عدة شركاء.
ويهدف الهاكثون إلى دعم تطوير حلول مبتكرة تعالج التحديات القائمة في منظومة البيانات الإحصائية من خلال التركيز على مسارين رئيسين يشملان جمع البيانات المبتكر بالاعتماد على مصادر غير تقليدية، والمعالجة الذكية، والتصنيف باستخدام تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي بما يسهم في رفع جودة البيانات الرسمية، وتعزيز موثوقيتها.
ويُفتح باب المشاركة أمام المواطنين والمقيمين داخل المملكة من الطلاب والأكاديميين والمستقلين والموظفين عبر نموذج إلكتروني مخصص لاستقبال الملخصات التنفيذية للأفكار، على أن تخضع المشاركات لعملية فرز أوليَّة لاختيار الفرق المتأهلة لمرحلة التصفيات النهائية، كما يتيح الهاكثون للفرق المختارة فترة زمنية مخصصة لبناء نماذج أولية للحلول المقترحة تمهيدًا لعرضها أمام لجنة تحكيم تضم نخبة من الخبراء في التقنية والإحصاء والابتكار.
وتؤكد الهيئة العامة للإحصاء أن إطلاق الهاكثون يأتي ضمن جهودها لتعزيز الابتكار في العمل الإحصائي، ودعم بناء منظومة بيانات وطنية قادرة على مواكبة التطورات التقنية بما ينسجم مع توجهات المملكة نحو تعزيز مكانتها كمركز عالمي للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي.
