The Saudi Statistician Program is a national initiative launched by the General Authority for Statistics to develop a new generation of highly skilled Saudi professionals in the fields of statistics and data science. Designed to align with Saudi Vision 2030, the program supports the Kingdom’s drive toward excellence, sustainability, digital transformation, and global competitiveness in statistical work. This prestigious program targets top-performing graduates from leading local and international universities, offering them comprehensive academic and professional training. Through a fully funded pathway including tuition, monthly stipends, and hands-on training, the program equips participants with the expertise needed to excel in specialized fields such as statistics, applied statistics, and data science. Participants begin their journey with foundational training in statistical programming, technical and interpersonal skill development, and job rotation within GASTAT. They then pursue advanced academic studies abroad, before returning to apply their knowledge and play a vital role in advancing the National Strategy for Statistics.
