The Housing survey is a field survey that relies on sampling techniques to study the housing characteristics of households at the national and administrative region levels. It aims to extract indicators related to housing, such as the type of dwelling, construction material used, holding type, and other housing indicators, it also contributes to calculating developmental indicators for the housing program.

Dwelling:
It is a building or part of a building originally intended for the residence of one or more households and has a separate entrance, whether occupied by one or more households or vacant at the time of the census. It may have one or more establishments, and there may be a household and an establishment in the same place. The housing unit may consist of one or more rooms. The types of housing units are:
A building originally constructed for the use of a household, such as a villa or a traditional house.
Part of a building, such as an apartment, floor, or independent room (such as a room constructed above the roofs of buildings).
A mobile building like a Tent, Arbor, a Bedouin tent, and a Container.
Occupied building during the census with a household but originally not intended for residence, such as a shop, factory, school, workshop, bakery, restaurant, and many workplaces where workers live.Household:
An individual or group of individuals who are or are not bound together by ties of kinship, and who share residence and food in one dwelling during the time of survey.Holding Type:
