131103 - Pastures & Forests Affairs Manager Participate in preparing the agricultural plans, programs and projects for the development of pastures and forests; directly supervise the preparation of the operational plans related to the development and preservation of pastures and forests; collect information on their types; follow-up the conduct of specialized studies on how to develop and protect them; participate in the development and preparation of the policies, procedures and technical specifications of pastures and forests; and ensure the application thereof.
Main Tasks:
Participate in preparing the agricultural plans, programs and projects aimed at developing the pastures and forests; follow up the implementation processes; and ensure the commitment of the relevant authorities to the adopted policies and procedures.
Follow up the processes of collecting, documenting and disseminating the statistical information and data; supervise the conduct of studies, experiments and research in the fields of pastures and forests management; and ensure the adoption of the best modern scientific methods when preparing the specialized statistics and analyzes.
Ensure the effective coordination by all the internal and external concerned parties for the purpose of identifying the places that are threatened by desertification with the aim to identify the types of trees and plants suitable for these places and work on planting and preserving them.
Follow up and direct the preparation of researches and studies on pastures and forests; submit the findings and recommendations on the identification of public pastures and forests and other technical aspects to the immediate supervisor.
Follow up on the recent advancements Related to pastures and forests; give directions to adopt the most appropriate methods of them; and identify and ensure the availability of all resources and materials required for executing specialized works and activities, using the recent relevant methods and practices.
