Supervise the development of objectives, operational plans related to the classification of hotels, direct supervision of the planning and organization of the work related to the classification of hotels, in accordance with the operational plans and set objectives , and ensure the availability of all technical and human resources that ensure the conduct of daily operations as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Main Tasks:
  • Participate in setting objectives and operational plans related to the hotel classification process, and supervise the development of accurate frameworks and metrics to ensure that these plans and objectives are accomplished effectively and efficiently.
  • Supervise the study of work plans and general frameworks for the governance of hotel classification standards and issuing certificates of classification, give recommendations in accordance with the laws and regulations of the General Commission for Tourism and National Heritage and the adopted international practices in this field.
  • Supervise the processes of receiving applications for licensing hotels and hostels, follow-up field visits aimed at evaluating the hotel and determine the appropriate category, and ensure that all conditions and criteria for obtaining the license are met.
  • Supervise the process of studying and identifying operational and developmental needs and priorities, implementing initiatives, programs and projects related to the classification of hotels and providing all necessary resources to achieve them.
  • Supervise the preparation of the abstracts and reports that clarify the general rates of achievement, present them to the specialized senior management; inform senior management of the different challenges and updates; propose the appropriate solutions and corrective actions, and seek the advice thereof regarding the various important future cases and initiatives.
