213203 - Agricultural Extension Specialist
Prepare and plan the field agricultural surveys; follow up their execution; assess their results; plan and execute the extension programs; assess the effectiveness of such programs; and prepare the specialized documents and reports related to work outcomes and tests.
Main Tasks:
Prepare the field visits to farmers; prepare the surveys and questionnaires of target categories of farmers; follow up the filling and analyzing process; infer results; quantify the farmers’ problems; and identify priorities.
Prepare the extension plans and programs for transferring the recent agricultural techniques, outcomes of the technical agricultural and economic researches, market requirements, quality and scaling via the educational materials, movies as well as the practical observations.
Provide the requirements for the execution of extension plans and programs; develop the activities of agricultural media; and prepare the bulletins, manuals, publications and brochures.
Develop the work methods and procedures; and keep up with the technical developments.
Prepare the specialized documents and reports on various extension activities and works; and clarify the problems and obstacles encountered by the agricultural lands under his supervision, as per the regulatory policies and procedures.
