216306 - Textile Designer Create new designs for textiles according to the modern fashion; and prepare the specifications, including clothing, carpets, blankets, raw materials, colors and shapes of other textiles.
Main Tasks:
Draw up the prototypes and detailed models of textiles to provide a basis for the new designs.
Consult with sales teams, management and customers on the design and requested improvements to textiles.
Produce samples of the design; evaluate the specifications, peremptory shapes and production methods; and remake the design to ensure the best final product.
Check the products after the process of production to ensure compliance with the design and specifications.
Supervise the works of technicians, contractors and suppliers; and inform the production team of any differences in the contracts.
