Offer counseling in the field of patient nutrition inside and outside hospitals; prepare nutritional programs, based on the health condition and patient needs; and prepare and keep the documents and reports related to clinical nutrition.
Main Tasks:
Study the recommendations of the attending physician; determine the types foods appropriate for the patient and their health condition; and determine their nutritional values and the patient's caloric need.
Prepare the nutritional programs for patients, based on their health condition.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the diet and its results.
Develop the work methods and procedures; and keep up with advancements in the field of clinical nutrition.
Prepare the documents and reports related to clinical nutrition and keep them on their relevant database, as per the regulating policies and procedures; ensure the application of principles and rules of public safety during the conduct of various clinical nutrition work.
