Investigate the causes of death and injuries; oversee the examinations to identify the causes; and perform injury analysis, autopsy, and diseases and toxins analysis.
Main Tasks:
Begin the investigations in the crime scene to determine the causes of death and injuries; and secure the physical, scientific and pathological evidences.
Examine the bodies of deceased persons; determine the signs and other empirical evidence; and photograph the physical evidence and the crime scene.
Oversee the transfer of the bodies of deceased persons from the crime scene; and arrange the transferring process to the morgue.
Coordinate with the physicians regarding the medical history of the deceased person.
Refer to the witnesses’ testimonies, medical records and other sources to determine the cause of death.
