Obtain, manage and maintain the documents and other materials of historic importance to the individuals, corporations and nations; and participate in research activities according to the required archival materials.
Main Tasks:
Evaluate and obtain the records for preservation purposes; and examine the received materials to determine the way of their classification and their suitable place.
Classify the groups; manage the information and records; and document the information with codes to enable easy retrieval of which.
Respond to the queries provided by the public and other users; and provide an advice to users on the best way to reach out to, use, and interpret archives.
Prepare the record-keeping systems and procedures for archives research and for the purpose of retention or destruction of records.
Implement the public activities, such as writing, answering the phone, handling mail correspondence and maintain the confidential materials.
