311103 - Meteorological Supervisor Supervise, follow up and evaluate works and activities of meteorological technicians; audit information, data, weather and climate maps, and follow up corrective and preventive maintenance procedures for meteorological instruments.
Main Tasks:
Prepare operational plans related to meteorological work, objectives and expected level of performance, and assign tasks and responsibilities to subordinates based on recommendations of direct manager.
Supervise implementation of all technical procedures related to meteorological works and operations, and follow up workflow based on prepared technical plans and programs.
Provide support to subordinates during performance of various works and operations, and ensure transfer of expertise and knowledge required for development thereof and improvement of performance thereof.
Participate in determination of specifications, standards and quality levels required for various works and operations, and ensure preparation of all policies and procedural manuals clarifying such policies, circulation thereof; and compliance of subordinates therewith.
Prepare, submit, document and archive work’s reports.
