GASTAT staff perform their tasks “remotely” by using modern techniques

The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) continues to carry out its statistical work as the only official reference for statistics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using "remote work" techniques by enabling its employees to perform their work easily in light of the suspension of attendance at workplaces. GASTAT also continues to provide statistical products and services which exceed (140) statistical products, including statistical bulletins and indicators, indexes, and detailed reports, to meet the requirements of its clients from the government and private sectors, and in support of national development goals.

The General Authority for Statistics has provided (Microsoft Team) application to all its employees in order to enable them to communicate remotely, hold video meetings and perform tasks collectively, in addition to using the feature of writing and voice, and files transferring and saving, especially since the application is one of the best solutions to work in a professional and practical manner.

The General Authority for Statistics clarified that providing this application and other modern technical solutions comes in harmony with the suspension of attendance at work places in all governmental entities, and out of its keenness to provide the best solutions recommended by the e-government program (Yasser) to work remotely.

It is worth mentioning that the General Authority for Statistics continues to publish its statistical products through its portal www.stats.gov.sa  and through its official accounts on social media platforms. All GASTAT clients are welcome to send any inquiries through the electronic portal (contact us) or through the e-mail Info@stats.gov.sa  so that GASTAT may respond to their inquiries and requests.
